Connellan Airport (AYQ), three kilometres north of Yulara, has daily Jetstar and Qantas flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns; the flight from Sydney takes about three and a half hours. A shuttle bus meets every flight and runs free of charge to all Yulara hotels and the campground.
By road, the park is 450 km by sealed road from Alice Springs — about five hours of straight, fast driving — and a long 730 km from Kings Canyon via the Mereenie Loop (4WD only) or 300 km via the easier Lasseter Highway. A park entry pass costs around 38 AUD and is valid for three consecutive days; buy it at the entrance station or online.
