Gympie Memorial Park

A small but well-kept park beside the Mary River, with the town's main war memorial and a set of heritage-listed memorial gates at its Mary Street entrance. The gates, of pink granite and bronze, were erected in 1922 to commemorate local men killed in the First World War.

The park is a pleasant spot to break a heritage walk, with shade trees and a view down to the river.
