The Enchanted Walk is a short, easy loop through mossy forest near the park entrance area. It is the walk to choose when the high country is hidden in cloud or when you want a gentle introduction before tackling longer routes.
Children tend to like it because the scale is intimate: creeks, twisted roots, damp logs, and the chance of spotting wombats or pademelons nearby. It is not dramatic in the Dove Lake sense, but it captures Cradle Mountain's quieter rainforest mood.
