Most visits revolve around walking. Dove Lake is the essential first stop, Cradle Mountain itself dominates the skyline, and the track to Marions Lookout gives a demanding but manageable half-day route.
For gentler time, use the short rainforest walks near the visitor area and Waldheim, or visit the interpretation displays before heading into the park. In poor weather, do not force the summit; the lower tracks and wildlife watching often make a better day.
