Geraldton Airport (GED) has daily Qantas and Rex flights to and from Perth, with the journey taking around an hour. Fares are reasonable if booked in advance and this is by far the quickest option.
By road, the drive from Perth along the Brand Highway takes around four hours and is straightforward. The Great Northern Highway is an alternative that passes through the wheat belt and is slightly longer. Integrity Coach Lines runs a daily coach service from Perth that takes around five hours.
There is no passenger rail service to Geraldton — the line was closed to passengers in 1978.
