Hamilton's best-known attraction is the Hamilton Gardens, a series of themed garden enclosures on the south bank of the Waikato River. The Waikato Museum on the riverbank is the place for Tainui Maori history and contemporary art. For sport, Seddon Park hosts international cricket, and the city is home to the Chiefs rugby franchise. The Waikato River itself offers kayaking and riverside walks. Day trips to Waitomo Caves and Hobbiton are easily done from the city.
