The northern of the two American landing beaches, where the 5th and 7th Marine Regiments came ashore. Quieter than Orange Beach today, with the rusting remains of Japanese pillboxes and a 75mm anti-boat gun still in its emplacement at the southern end.
Good for a swim. The sand is the same fine white coral as Orange Beach, and there is rarely anyone else here.
