Ardenica is 18 km south of Lushnjë on the national road that runs down to Fier. The monastery is signposted at the turning, with a short climb up the side road to the hilltop car park. There is no public bus that takes you to the gate; the practical options are a taxi from Lushnjë or Fier, or a self-drive detour off the SH4. From Tirana it is around 90 minutes by road; from Berat, about an hour. Most visitors combine Ardenica with Apolonia, which is 20 km further south near Fier.
