The brewery sits on the southern edge of the city and is something of a local institution. The site itself isn't formally open as a museum, but the on-site Pub Korça is open to the public and serves draft Birra Korça straight from the source — drier and fresher than the bottled version sold across the country.
The annual Korça Beer Fest in mid-August, held in the streets around the brewery and the boulevard, is the biggest event of the city's year — live music, food stalls, and large crowds drinking pints.
