Tushemisht is a small lakeside village near Pogradec, close to the North Macedonian border and the clear water of Lake Ohrid. It is known for springs, canals, fish restaurants and a slower village atmosphere than the main Pogradec promenade.
The village makes an easy outing from town, especially around lunch or late afternoon. Come for a wander by the water, a meal of lake fish if you eat it, and the sense of Albania's Ohrid shore as a lived-in landscape rather than only a beach destination.
