A boutique-and-cafe in one of the few surviving landmark buildings on Abovyan Street, opened in 2005 by the New York-trained Armenian-American designer Nina Hovnanian. The shop carries clothing, jewellery, carpets, and crafts produced by hundreds of small Armenian workshops and artisans across the country — a curated alternative to the souvenir stalls of the Vernissage.
Prices are higher than in the open-air markets but the quality is real, and the attached tea cafe is a pleasant break from a shopping circuit. Open daily; most credit cards accepted.
