The Krazy Kanguruh is the other landmark après bar on the run down to St. Anton, just above the MooserWirt and slightly less aggressive in its mid-afternoon mood. Founded in 1965 by an Australian who skied here for a season and never left, it has the same broad formula — beer, schnapps, loud music, dancing on tables in ski boots — but a slightly older, slightly less rowdy crowd.
The hot Jägertee (a hot tea spiked with rum and red wine) is the local après drink and the Krazy Kanguruh does it well. Like the MooserWirt, plan your descent home before the third one.
