St. Johann in Tirol is primarily an activity destination — skiing in winter, hiking and cycling in summer. The town itself is modest, but the surrounding mountains and valleys offer plenty of time outdoors. The Kitzbüheler Horn cable car is the main gateway to the alpine heights above the town.
