The Nakhchivan State Carpet Museum is housed in the Khan's House, an 18th-century palace associated with the Nakhchivan Khanate. The collection spans eight halls and contains over 240 traditional Azerbaijani carpets alongside applied arts and ethnographic items. Nakhchivan has a distinct regional carpet tradition with geometric designs and rich natural dyes, and the museum is one of the better places in Azerbaijan to see this craft in historic context.
