A modernist memorial in a park near the town stadium, dedicated to those killed in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War (1988–1994). Like the larger Şəhidlər Xiyabanı in Baku, it is an important place for local commemoration; the inscriptions are in Azerbaijani.
The surrounding park is a pleasant place to walk; benches, trees, and a fountain make it the closest thing Sharur has to a town square.
