The 101st Airborne Museum tells the story of the Battle of Bastogne from a 1930s building that has its own wartime history. It served military uses before and during the German occupation, then became a Red Cross hospital after the war.
Inside, the exhibits focus on the siege and the experience of soldiers and civilians in the Ardennes. The cellar includes a bombing-raid simulation, making it a useful companion to Bastogne's larger battlefield museums and memorials.
