Saint Barthélémy Church

Saint Barthélémy Church is one of Liège's great old collegiate churches, founded near the end of the 11th century. Its twin towers and pale exterior make it a clear landmark just north of the centre.

The reason to go inside is the baptismal font, one of the masterpieces of medieval metalwork from Liège. It came from the city's old cathedral parish church and gives the visit more weight than the quiet exterior suggests.
