Sint-Truiden has its own railway station with direct connections to Brussels (about 50 minutes) and to Liège (about 25 minutes). Either city makes Sint-Truiden a comfortable day trip. The station is about 20 minutes' walk from the Grote Markt, or a short taxi ride.
By car, Sint-Truiden lies on the E40 motorway corridor between Brussels and Liège, approximately 60 kilometres east of Brussels. Paid parking is available near the centre.
