Soignies is well connected by train and straightforward to reach from Brussels or Mons.
By train is the easiest option. Direct trains run from Brussels-Midi to Soignies in approximately 45 minutes; trains also connect from Mons in around 15 minutes. The station is a short walk from the Grand Place and the collegiate church. Trains run frequently throughout the day on both routes. Check the SNCB/NMBS website for current timetables.
By car from Brussels, take the E19 motorway south towards Mons and exit towards Soignies — around 45 kilometres and under an hour outside of rush hour. Parking is available near the Grand Place.
By car from Mons, Soignies is roughly 20 kilometres to the northeast on the N6, a straightforward 20-minute drive.
There is no significant bus connection from outside the immediate region, and no nearby commercial airport — Charleroi Airport is the closest at about 40 kilometres.
