Brcko is most easily reached by road — it sits on the main route between Tuzla (60 km southeast) and the Croatian border. There is no passenger rail service directly to the town. Buses connect Brcko to Sarajevo (about 3 hours), Tuzla (1.5 hours), and Zagreb in Croatia. The road crossing into Croatia at Brcko is open 24 hours. Driving from Zagreb takes about 2.5 hours; from Sarajevo about 3 hours via the E761 corridor.
