Five kilometres north of Visoko, in the village of Arnautovići, lie the foundations of the Franciscan church and royal mausoleum that served as the spiritual heart of medieval Bosnia. Little is visible above ground — the outlines of the nave, a few stone tomb slabs — but the historical weight of the site is real.
A small museum building on site explains the excavations. Open mornings only; check ahead. Easily combined with a visit to the pyramid hill.
