The old commercial centre of Visoko sits on the tongue of land where the Fojnička river meets the Bosna. Two- and three-storey shophouses line the main street; the Saturday market spills out around the central square. The town was a major leather-tanning centre under the Ottomans, and a handful of the old tabhana workshops still operate down by the river.
Walk the riverbank from the bridge to the White Mosque. The whole loop, including a stop for coffee, is under an hour.
