Zvornik sits on the main road between Sarajevo and Belgrade, making it accessible by long-distance bus. Buses on the Sarajevo–Belgrade route stop in Zvornik; the journey from Sarajevo takes roughly three hours. From Banja Luka, count on around two and a half hours.
The nearest airport with regular connections is Belgrade Nikola Tesla (roughly 130 km away). Tuzla Airport, around 80 km west, has limited European routes. There is no train service to Zvornik. If driving, the town is on the E761 road; the Serbian town of Mali Zvornik is directly across the Drina bridge.
