Nugal is a small pebble cove tucked between cliffs about a 25-minute walk south of Makarska along the coastal path. It is officially a naturist beach but in practice a mix, and the dramatic setting — high white-rock walls on three sides, a small waterfall coming down the cliff — is the main draw. The water is exceptionally clear because of the rocky surroundings.
Bring water and shoes; the descent on the path is steep in places. No facilities. Best mid-morning when the cliff still throws shade onto the beach.
