The main beach in Opatija itself, a pebble and concrete platform beach just south of the town centre with a view of the Maiden with the Seagull statue just offshore. It is well-equipped — sun lounger rental, showers, a beach bar — and the water is calm and clear. Crowded in peak summer. The best spots are the concrete platforms to the north, where the Lungomare begins its run toward Volosko.
