PEEK&POKE Computer Museum

PEEK&POKE claims to be the largest collection of vintage computers and gaming hardware in Europe, spread across more than 300 square metres of exhibition space. The collection runs from punch-hole machines and early calculators through the 8-bit home computer era — ZX Spectrums, Commodore 64s, Atari machines — to early games consoles and arcade cabinets.

Everything is working and most of it is playable. You can sit down at a Commodore Amiga, play Pac-Man on period-correct hardware, or try a Nintendo Virtual Boy. The museum is an unexpected find in a Croatian port city, and it draws genuine enthusiasts from across the region. Among the exhibits is a Commodore Amiga of the type Andy Warhol used for his early digital art experiments.
