Six Baroque fountains spread across the old town, all built in the 18th century. Each depicts a figure from Roman mythology — Jupiter, Neptune, Mercury, Triton, Hercules, and Caesar. They're an unusual thing to have in such concentration outside Prague, and hunting them down is a pleasant way to explore the old town's streets and squares. The Neptune fountain on Dolní náměstí is the oldest, dating from 1683.
