The main fine arts museum for the region, housed in a fine Baroque building on náměstí Republiky. The permanent collection covers Czech and Central European art from the medieval period through to the 20th century. There's also a separate modern and contemporary gallery in a building on Denisova street. Worth a couple of hours if you have an interest in Central European painting and sculpture.
