Marselisborg Deer Park

A woodland deer park south of Aarhus where tame deer roam beneath beech trees near the coast.

Marselisborg Deer Park is a fenced woodland area in the Marselisborg forests south of Aarhus, where deer move freely among the trees and often come close to visitors. It is especially popular with families, but the setting is pleasant even without the novelty of hand-feeding animals.

The park works best as part of a wider outing through the coastal woods, Mindeparken, or the paths toward Moesgaard. It shows Aarhus at its most accessible: city, forest, and sea all within a short ride of the centre.
