Geranium

Geranium is the finest restaurant in Denmark and one of the top-ranked in the world — three Michelin stars, consistently in the top five of the World's 50 Best Restaurants. Located on the eighth floor of Parken Stadium (an unusual setting that only makes sense once you are inside), the dining room looks out over Fælledparken and the city. Chef Rasmus Kofoed's cuisine is based on Nordic ingredients — foraged plants, seafood from Danish waters, dairy from small producers — presented in a long succession of small, precisely constructed courses.

Booking is required months in advance for dinner. A lunch menu is occasionally available and slightly more accessible. Even the most experienced restaurant-goers find Geranium a significant experience, not just technically accomplished but with a clear point of view about what Danish cooking can mean.
