I.C. Møllerparken is a compact, well-kept municipal park just north of the central square, named for the local merchant and benefactor who paid for its first landscaping in the 1920s. Gravel paths thread between flowerbeds, a small ornamental pond, and a rose garden that peaks in late June.
The park is a pleasant pause between sights in the centre — bring a coffee from one of the cafés on Torvet and find a bench. On warm weekends families spread blankets on the lawn, and during the city's summer festival the bandstand is used for outdoor concerts.
