Koge Mini-Town is a small but likeable model of Køge as it looked in the nineteenth century. Volunteers have rebuilt the town in miniature, house by house, turning old streets and half-timbered facades into something you can study at knee height.
It works best after you have walked the real town centre. The model helps you notice how much of Køge's old street plan and domestic architecture has survived, and it gives children a more tangible version of the history than another church or museum room.
