The slim 25-metre cast-iron tower stands a couple of blocks back from the harbour. Together with the smaller front-range light at the quayside, it forms a leading line that guides ferries safely into Rønne's tricky reef-strewn approach. Not generally open, but it makes a useful waypoint on a stroll along the waterfront and looks particularly good against a winter sunset.
