Narva-Jõesuu Lighthouse

The lighthouse stands at the mouth of the Narva River where it meets the Gulf of Finland, marking the boundary between Estonian and Russian waters. Built in the Soviet era and still operational, it is a straightforward utilitarian structure — not architecturally grand, but the location is striking. From the base you look out across the river mouth to the Russian bank and out to the open sea, with the long beach curving away to the south.

It is a pleasant 20-minute walk along the waterfront from the main beach access. The path passes through pine forest and along the riverbank, and is worth doing even if you give the lighthouse itself only a glance.
