Vormsi is a place to slow down. There is one significant historic sight — the medieval church at Hullo with its unique wheel-cross graveyard — and a network of quiet roads and forest trails to walk or cycle. Most of the rest of the island is conservation area, with old Swedish farmsteads, juniper meadows, and a long flat shore that draws migratory birds in spring and autumn.
