Nato Deciduous Forest is one of Aland's richest small nature areas, set on alkaline soil that supports unusually varied plant life. Circular trails, from a short half-kilometre loop to a longer walk of about 3.5 km, lead through the forest. May is the best time to come, when the spring flowers are at their strongest.
