L'Intendant on the Allées de Tourny is the most visually striking wine shop in Bordeaux — possibly in France. The entire interior is organised around a circular staircase with wine bottles stacked in curved shelves climbing all five floors. The effect, from the bottom looking up, is genuinely theatrical.
The stock runs to several thousand references from the Bordeaux region — Médoc, Saint-Émilion, Pomerol, Sauternes, Graves — across every price point.
