Domme is a small medieval bastide, and most of what's worth doing can be covered in half a day. The Porte des Tours is the town's most evocative medieval relic, the Grotte de Domme is genuinely impressive for its scale, and the Belvédère viewpoint offers what many consider the finest view in the entire Périgord Noir. Day trips to Château de Castelnaud and La Roque-Gageac are easy from here.
