Eating options in and around Mailly-le-Château are limited but honest. The village itself has little beyond a café, so most visitors either provision in Auxerre or Châtel-Censoir before arriving, or eat at one of the small restaurants along the canal. Burgundy's staple of jambon persillé, andouillette, and local Chablis-adjacent whites are the things to look for.
