The old town is small enough to cover entirely on foot. The cathedral, the Toulouse-Lautrec museum, and the Collégiale Saint-Salvy are all within a five-minute walk of each other. The Vieux Pont and the riverfront are a short walk downhill from the cathedral close.
For the wider city and the outskirts, there is a local bus network, but most visitors to Albi will not need it.
