St-Pons-de-Thomières is on the D908, about 55 kilometres north of Béziers. By car from Béziers it is about an hour through the Orb gorge. There is a train service on the scenic Transpyrénéen line between Béziers and Clermont-l'Hérault via Bédarieux — St-Pons is a stop on this line. Driving from Montpellier takes about 90 minutes via the A75 and then smaller roads. The town itself is compact and easy to explore on foot.
