The Couvent des Dominicains was founded in 1245 and remained a Dominican monastery until the French Revolution. Its surviving complex includes an 18th-century chapel, cloister, chapter house, refectory, and dormitory, giving Perpignan one of its best historic religious ensembles outside the cathedral area.
