Housed in a 14th-century Augustinian monastery whose Gothic cloisters are themselves a highlight, this museum contains one of France's best collections of medieval sculpture — Romanesque capitals saved from demolished abbeys, Gothic funerary monuments, and carved decorative fragments that would otherwise have been lost. European paintings from the Renaissance to the 19th century fill the upper galleries. The setting is as impressive as the objects. Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month.
