Le Touquet has been a serious golfing destination since the early 20th century, and the courses here remain among the best in northern France. There are two main courses: La Forêt, a classic woodland layout cut through the pine forest, and La Mer, a more exposed links course closer to the coast. Both are maintained to a high standard.
La Forêt is the older and more celebrated of the two, laid out in the 1930s amid mature pines that frame nearly every hole. La Mer plays differently — wider, windier, and more links-like in character. Green fees are reasonable by the standards of top French courses. Visitors can book tee times directly with the club. Equipment hire is available.
