Le Touquet has a solid eating scene for a town of its size. Seafood is the thing to order — the Opal Coast fishing boats land sole, bass, and shellfish that end up on plates within hours. The main restaurant street runs along the Rue Saint-Jean and the area around the covered market. Most places are brasserie-style, busy at weekends with day-trippers from Lille and the Channel crossers from Boulogne.
