Ze Kitchen Galerie is one of the better restaurants for creative French cooking on the Left Bank: an art-gallery dining room with open kitchen and menus that blend classic French technique with Asian and Mediterranean influences. Chef William Ledeuil earned a Michelin star here and has maintained consistent quality for well over a decade.
The lunch menu offers good value with three courses for around €45. À la carte dishes include langoustines with lemongrass and kaffir lime, roasted cod with black bean broth, and desserts that lean toward Asian flavours. The wine list is strong on natural wines and biodynamic producers.
The room is modern and comfortable, the service professional without being stiff. Good for a special dinner that doesn't require the formality (or expense) of a three-star house.
