Cafe culture in Aix is an outdoor activity. The terraces along the Cours Mirabeau fill from breakfast onwards, the small squares of the old town are made for an aperitif at sunset, and the student crowd from the university keeps a busy bar scene going late around Place des Cardeurs and Rue Verrerie.
