Literaturuli is a small cafe-bookshop tucked into the old town, with shelves of Georgian-language poetry and novels along the walls and a few quiet tables in the back. Coffee is good (Georgian style as well as proper espresso), the cakes are made on site, and there is a short list of Georgian natural wines by the glass.
The cafe is at its best in the late afternoon, when the light comes through the front window and the room is mostly empty. A reliable break from the busier seafront cafes.
