Geguti Palace is a ruined royal residence outside Kutaisi, associated with the medieval rulers of Georgia. What remains is fragmentary, but the scale of the brickwork and foundations still suggests a courtly complex rather than a small fortress.
The palace makes most sense for travelers already visiting Gelati, Motsameta, or other sites around Kutaisi. It is not polished, and that is part of the experience: you are reading history through open walls, grass, and the outline of a vanished royal center.
