Baden-Baden's own airport (Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden — code FKB) takes low-cost flights from across Europe and is about fifteen minutes from town by taxi. The bigger airports at Frankfurt (an hour and a half by train) and Strasbourg (under an hour) cover the rest of the world.
Trains stop at Baden-Baden station every hour from across Germany — Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Freiburg, Basel — and from Paris via TGV. The station is in the suburb of Oos, about four kilometres from the centre; a frequent bus link runs into town in fifteen minutes. By car, the A5 autobahn passes just west of town with its own Baden-Baden exit.
